    Homeowners insurance - what a rip off - agent a JERK

    My homeowners insurance came up for renewal.  My agent, Robert Guardiola, from Katy, TX was more than happy to get me a good rate when he was trying to get my business initially.  I get a bill and my policy went up $500.  There had been no claims and no problems.  When I called and left a message that I would like to discuss my homeowners insurance and the increase in the premium, he manages to find time to call and leave a voicemail 2 days later.  In a very unprofessional, cocky tone he says " there is nothing I can do about your premium and if you want a discount you need to insure... read full review »

    I don't. I called the NC Insurance Commissioner's office today and read an article in the News & Observer stating that our rates here in Central NC were supposed to go up 2 to 5%. So I am filing a complaint and I wrote to the N & O just now. Thanks for your input.
