Not a lasting solution

I love the idea of Biore, and it is certainly satisfying to see the strips after use, with what seems to be the inside of all the blackheads. However, it seems like a temporary solution at best - one day later, its as if nothing had happened and I'm not sure that using scotch tape wouldn't provide a similar feeling and result. That said, in the moments immediately after use, skin looks good, pores look tighter and there seems to be some short term result...
