We bought this vacuum six years ago when our second child was born.  The compact size and foldaway handle were the major selling points for buying this.  Plus, it was quieter than some of the other brands.  It is lightweight and easy to port around the house.  In fact, it is ss light that our 6-year old can vacuum.  (although she rarely does). 

I like the bagless feature as well because it makes it easy to clean.  The see-through compartment allows you to find the Barbie shoe that just got sucked up because the floor was not always picked up 100%.  That shoe is now dirty, but it is retreiveable. ...
