Soothie bottles are good for younger children, but when they get a little older the child can push the nipple back into the bottle causing milk to spill out. The bottles are very round and may be a little difficult for younger babies to hold on to. Also, if the bottle is left on it's side, milk with spill out onto the carpet. I love'd though that they came with cute pictures but the overall performance of the bottle left alot to be desired.
