I've found this drive to perform fantastically. Using it on an XP Pro system, no additional software is needed to operate this drive. Transfer times are very acceptable, and drive is durable and handy. U3 software is incompatible with Vista, but the manufacturer's website gives instructions for deleting the U3 partition so that Vista users can free up additional space on the drive.
