Hairspray

Not the same as the on-stage musical, but still good

waiting for the DVD, watching chick flicks, a comedy fan

Hairspray the movie was fun and entertaining. But if you have ever seen the show on Broadway or the West End, be prepared that it will not live up. Some songs are left out, others are changed to fit the movie. The actors were better singers than I anticipated and Nikki Blonsky does a spectacular job! I still bought the movie, and the cd, but felt the stage version was 10 times better.
