This is a wonderful book. I was thinking of changing careers and taking a long trip first and an acquaintance recommended it to me. Wow. What a story. It makes you want to get out there and live and stop making excuses. If nothing else it's a great read and you'll feel like you lived all over the world for a year as well. This is one of the few books I've recommend to both my best friend and my mom - and they both loved it.
