What can I say my dachshund is the all round best family pet. He is smart, loving, and a great watch dog and wonderful cuddler. Loves to lay with you and spend time with family. I highly recommend this breed to anyone wanting a small dog that is not too small. My dog learns very fast and even though he does require exercise he is perfect for an apartment. Plus I get more exercise myself walking him.
