I rec'd a letter from Purina saying that they have not rec'd any reports of any problems with their food causing diarrhea etc. They continued say it must have been my dog's stomach could have been off that day or she could have eaten to fast. She chews every kibble her tummy wasn't off that day. They sent me 2 coupons - after this experience I'm surely not going to use their food again they said they hope I stay a valued customer of Purina. Unfortunately, that won't happen. I guess Purina needs to wake up and realize the amount of people having health problems with their dogs on this food. If you have had any health problems with your dog on Purina proplan make sure that you call them! A friend of mine hasn't had any problems with her dogs yet - hopefully she won't I'll be sending her the coupons to use.

Thankfully we stopped feeding this food to young goldnen pretty quickly. She's doing much better now, thank goodness! We have our youngest one on Acana lamb & apple, our 2 year old golden on the Acana the adult dog. They are both doing very well on it. I had thought of the California Natural for my youngest one, when we had our labrador retriever I tried her on the California Natural it gave her diarrhea to much rice I think, didn't want to take any chances, that's why I choose the Acana. Thank goodness all is well there.
