    We bought the Step 2 kitchen for my daughter's 2nd birthday.  There seems to be quite a bit of room for storage of plastic foods and she likes the noises the burners make.  I think that this is something I can see her playing with for quite a few more years, which makes it worth the money.  The only downsides are the top cabinets are slanted so it is hard to put plates or cups in there, and the light doesn't work well.  She can't turn it on, and I have problems getting it on at times.
