I started reading this series in college(won't mention when that was).  They were suggested by my now ex-husband.  He had "DragonFlight", "DragonQuest", and I think "The White Dragon"   I loved them so much that I wore out his copies and had to get my own.  I have since collected everything that I could from the Pern series.  I have even tried out some of her other series and will talk about those later.
