    I purchased a new car within the past year. My, at then, insurance company offered a rate that was very high. I researched with a local agent and then signed me up with Progressive. The rate quoted was lower than what Progressive charged for my first 6 months.

    Within that 6 months, my car was involved in a minor accident. As I was close to a body shop I was comfortable using, I pulled into their lot. The agent I spoke with tried to convince me that I should let their body shop do the work. I managed to get them to approve the shop I chose.
