I forgot to add a puppy update! Well the little pup we found was adopted but we were lucky enough to be able to adopt her brother. Our new little guy is now 10 weeks old and he is a yellow lab chow mix that we named Rowdy. I will post more pictures soon!

My husband and I are adding a new addition to our family, a new puppy! We will be adopting a rescue puppy from an area shelter hopefully within the next week. We did find one we both liked but my husband is out of town until Sunday and they are closed then. We are keeping our fingers crossed come Monday she will still be there or she went home with another loving family.

My first blog!  I have been waiting to write something that I felt would be important  and I now have something.

My mom and I will be teaming up June 6-7 to participate in the Chicago Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.  We will be a mighty team of two walking for dear friends who have been diagnosed with the disease and for their families.

I am going to start training for the walk starting today, my mom is already a "step" ahead logging in 5 miles every day!
