The allergy usually goes into a staph infection for her, so we take her into the vet, and she gets an allergy shot, then we have her on antibiotics at home. The food helps her not go back to that, but she also has a pollen allergy, so it still occurs for her. You can have your dog tested for allergies at the vet's office with a simple blood test, and they can tell you just what she is allergic to, whether it's pollen or food or both. And if it's food, they can tell you which foods to avoid.
