We got the Melissa & Doug fire engine with removable puzzle pieces for my older son.  He liked it and played with it a lot, putting things inside it, etc.  But my other boy if a truck lover and he plays with it almost daily.  He truly loves it!  He takes the puzzle pieces off and looks at the pictures underneath, he will 'drive' it around our playroom.  He likes to open the hatch on top and load it with other toys and figurines.  This is a toy that's built to last - your children will be able to give it to their own children!  I like all of the Melissa & Doug products - they do a great job...
