    Golden Retrievers are one of the best breeds of dogs there is.  I had a golden retriever for about 7 years tat was rescued from being put to sleep for heart worms, he was on his last treatmentand the owner decided to put him down, so we adopted him. .They are beutiful dogs and very very smart.  They are very gentle and loving but will be protective of their owners.  My dog was very gentle with small dog an small children, I cant tell you how many kids tied to ride him like a horse and he ever once got upset.  He was so smart, that  every latch we tried to use o the gate he figured out... read full review »
