We bought this item for our daughter when she was about 6 months old. Like other reviewers, I felt like she might be bored just sitting around all the time. The jumperoo had that kid dancin' in no time, so much so that she used to "fall asleep at the wheel." She spent about 20-30 min per day in it, and it was a lifesaver when I needed to have my hands free for a moment. The cover came off and was machine washable, and everything else was easy to wipe down. It's adjustable height settings were great, as she was able to continue to use it until she was walking!
