I bought this for my first daughter when she was under 2 (even though it says ages 3 and up). Now, at age 4, she still loves to play with it, especially while mommy's making dinner. Now my one year old loves it, too. She open and closes the doors, puts things in, takes them out. A few tips: I didn't put all the stickers on it, so it's easier to keep clean and doesn't end up looking worn and dirty (when the little ones accidentally write on it with crayons or touch it with filthy hands, the pastic cleans right up, but wouldn't if the stickers were on there).
