I have two cats that are exhibiting bad behaviors. I have a two year old male that marks the walls and furniture and a 2 year old female that urinates by the exterior doors and hides for most of the day. The female is very anxious in general.They both get along well with my other cats but the male is clearly trying to mark his territory. He is also very aloof and disinterested in being petted or having attention from humans. I have had the male on anxiety medication which has reduced the marking by at least half.
