Toledo Zoo - Toledo, OH

A great place to spend the day

interested in cultural experiences, budget conscious, mom to toddler boy, a busy person

We recently went here for the first time since it was remodeled. What a great place to visit. We really enjoyed all the exhibits we had a chance to see and the African Savannah was a lot of fun to get to see the animals being able to walk around. My two-year-old was especially entranced by the elephants and meerkats.

The Toledo Zoo is much more compact than the Detroit Zoo, which was easier on our son. It's possible to see everything, but it's not so much that you feel overwhelmed.
