This television series was the best sci fi series ever created. Joss Whedon is a genious and it really shows in this wonderful show. There are no aliens, no unchartered worlds, just great characters and great stories. Joss Whedon creates a universe in the future that is familiar to all of us because of it is heaped with references to our past. The world as we know it, is no more. Humans have traveled far out into space and started new worlds on new planets. The even teraformed the planets to be more like earth as we once knew it.
