Penn State University Schuylkill Campus is a great place to start the college experience. As a 29 year old single mother, I was terrified to be starting my college education. I was very pleased when I arrived on campus to begin the fall semester in 2008 to find everyone very helpful and comforting. The campus has a nice small town setting, but still has a very diverse student body.
As an adult student, I felt kind of left out on the campus. In classes that only had one or two other adults in attendence, I was outnumbered. Many professors did not consider adult students in their classes. ...
