The Avent Baby Bottles are good, but they can leak.  I was breastfeeding and bottle feeding at first.  I was using Medela bottles.  After four months, I satrted to only bottle feed.  I did not know which company to use, so becuase my sister and my sisters-in -laws' used Avent.  I decided to use them.  These bottles leak.  But it is strange because they only leak sometimes.   
The wide mouth is great and they are easy to clean, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the bottle leaks.  I think it has something to do with the srewing on of the cap.  It is very annoying when...
