Growing up my family had a skunk for a while. Cutest little thing ever. They are descented but ours had to have her glands emptied as sometimes she developed an interesting oder. Pew. I don't know whether all skunks would require that but it does mean a trip to the vet. Before getting a skunk definitely do your research. They aren't exactly cats. As with any pet understand what you are getting yourself into.
