Bought the Vornado at the end of season last year when we had a problem with our furnace.  It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but not many heaters were still in stock and I had read good reviews about the heater.

Pros:  moves air, quiet, stays cool to touch

Cons:  doesm't seem to really heat air, not good for larger spaces

 My wife and I live in an older home.  We keep the thermostat down and try to heat only the rooms we're inhabiting.  This unit actually makes a larger room feel cooler because of the air movement.  My wife much prefers her $25 ceramic heater to help her feel warmer...
