I got a great deal on this printer. Even at its' original price it is still a good deal. Sure, laser printers cost more upfront and it seems more expensive to keep them running with toner costing $80 or so. If you feel this way, keep track of how many pages you get per dollar in an inkjet. Even if you use the high estimate you get from the cartridge package, you still come out ahead with toner. A laser printer will pay for itself the first time you have to buy toner. I was getting 35-40 pages from a black ink cartridge if I was lucky.
