I finally broke down and watched Sex and The City - The Movie, I passed on it several times, on HBO, but finally watched it.  The movie is definitely a "Chick Flick" in every sense of the phrase, but you know what fellas?  It's not that bad.  I actually enjoyed it because it's all about close friendships, loyalty, a loving relationships.  Chick Flick, yes, but it displays characteristics in the relationships that are applicable whether you are male or female.
