I nursed my Krups coffee maker for a few months after it started to periodically leak and finally decided to find a new one. I read a lot of reviews and decided one of the Cuisinarts was worth a try.

I selected the 1150 because it had a stainless steel carafe that was supposed to keep the coffee warm without running a warming plate and ending up with the burn taste if I waited an hour between cups of coffee.

The 1150 makes good, smooth tasting coffee. But here are cople gripes I have with the design.
