I took that fateful (and expensive) route to the best Harley for me . . . bought 03 Sportster 883 and six weeks later traded it in on the anniversary edition 2008 Super Glide Custom. Bike came with security system and smooth chrome rims (both extras).They threw in a windshield . . . all for $15,200. Was that a reasonable price? Let me hear from some others who have bought same bike and what they paid.
