My son has used a Dell Inspiron 1505E for two years at law school. The Bar exam is in July and as of one week before the exam the battery won't charge. Seeking Tech assistance from Dell, he was informed that this computer has battery/motherboard problems, repairable only by installing a new motherboard. The Bar does not allow changes to the computer certified for the exam. My son is left to worry about if the power crashes because the computer shuts down immediately.
