For the second time in 18 months TD Ameritrade's computers failed during a major market crisis. Each time customers were unable to log in and access their accounts. This time TD Ameritrade would not even take phone calls leaving their customers totally helpless to manage their accounts. I'm sure many investors lost thousands of dollars by not being able to sell falling issues or missed many great opportunities to buy oversold issues at bargain prices.
