This item was little pricey for our taste, but I liked the features this one has.  Being able to change the channel is nice, but I really don't know if it's helps with anything.  I really like the 'lights for sound' feature, just for those times I 'think' I heard a cry.  I also like the dual receiver because then I can alternate with one on the charger and the other is free to roam.  Having the two receivers has definitely come in handy more than once.
