This is my second set of Calphalon saute pans, my first set was a learning lesson for my husband who didn't know not to use metal utensils on non stick surfaces.  My second set will last forever because he fully understands the rules now.  I grew up using cheap teflon pans, the kind you find at the dollar store or the grocery store.  The first time I picked up the Calphalon pans and felt the weight of the pan I fell in love with them.  Just picking it up you can tell what great quality they are.  I have both the 12 inch and the 10 inch pans and they're all I need.  When I cook at a friend...
