The Bernina 440QE is way overpriced for the features it has (or the lack thereof.) I agree with the reviewer who said it doesn't let you know when bobbin thread is low. Also, it is difficult to reach under the slide-on table to change bobbins or clean the thread race. The slide-on table itself is a pain, as is the accessory box. Having used many different brands of machines, I much prefer Pfaff, Janome, and Babylock for the convenience of access to the bobbin and the built-on accessory drawer that swings out of the way to open up the free arm.
