Maytag Plus Refrigerator

The Maytag Plus design really limits useable space.

Whiile the water and ice dispenser is nice, the layout of the doors result in useable storage space that is at least one third less in the Maytag Plus than in other bottom freezer designs. Reaching to the back of the refrigerator is a akin to a yoga stretching execise.

Ineffective insulation between the refrigerator and freezer units result in the worst of both worlds; refrigerated items freezing solid and freezer items that are not.
