I purchased a Whirpool Duet Washer at a great price - a floor model - for $450. The appeal of the great price quickly gave way to regret, and now I'm planning to return it in exchange for a top loader.  The installers did a great job delivering and setting up the machine.  As soon as we washed clothes, however, we realized it was completely unusable.  It shook and banged and moved across the floor.  It was so loud and moved so much it looked like it would knock a hole in the wall.  We ran into the laundry room and braced ourselves against the machine to try to keep it still!  The noise scared...
