I was very doubtful when I first got 'green bags' since we live in southern Arizona, hot and dry.  But they have worked out wonderfully. I go to a Farmers Market and as soon as I get home, wash and dry my produce, in they go into the green bags. My son, when visiting, used to throw away my lettuce that had any brown on it but now I keep him and the rest of the family happy with beautiful lettuce.  What a find!  Good for any kind of produce I buy.
