Confessions of a Shopahoilc brings us the tale of Becky Bloomwood - a journalist who writes for a financial publication by day and charges up her credit cards by night (and on lunch break).
This book is a fun look at the madness you sometimes feel shopping - but Becky feels it all the time. What's another $200 here? This scarf is worth it and I'll use it all the time. I myself have had these internal arguments myself standing at the counter.
Becky's drug of choice is shopping - doesn't matter for what. She avoids her drug dealers (i.e. the banks, credit card statements) by simpling throwing them...
