I have had several digital cameras and the Canon PowerShot A630 8 Mega-Pixel digital camera is the best one I have ever owned. It's a step above the 500 series Canon digital cameras. Pay a little more and you get better pixel resolution and more features. It has so many of the bells and wistles that a novice such as myself would want and the monitor walks one through using them. I tried the stitch mode for a panarama of the volcano in Maui (sorry can't spell the name) and the stitched photo came out great.
