I have tried numerous cough meds and this is the one that works. Most have removed alcohol from their syrup, which I understand for kids, but some of us need it to knock out our hacking cough. It is the only one that keeps me from waking up every few hours needing more. I like the taste, too, which is a bonus, especially with medicine.
