Surprising fact about me...: I was the first and only female executive editor of an official pro wrestling magazine. I suppose this is surprising. I have never had an alcoholic drink in my life. Oh how about this! I have to set my clock exactly 40 minutes ahead or I get all screwed up and don't know what time it is. (Really!)
Favorite band growing up...: Bon Jovi, Poison, and just about any long haired, spandex wearing band. (It was the 80's!), I also liked John Cougar (Mellancamp) a LOT and still do. And, of course, the music, the movie, the legend that is...Rocky Horror Picture Show!
Last good book I read...: I am reading three books at a time and all are good. One is a self help, one is a novel, and one is a pro wrestling tell all. (Deep, huh? lol)

Quick View: I have been a fan of Laura Geller's line of cosmetics for years. Her line of baked products is great. I have TONS of blushes but tend to stick with rosy hues. I decided it was time for a change so I picked up Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten Blush Compact in Golden Apricot. I thought I would look orange it doesn't at all. I love this shade and the formula is really great. I'll be buying more shades soon.

Sorry Patty, haven't been on vp for a while!
They still have the powder blush but it is now mineral blush pressed. I think so many companies are going to straight minerals in many products due to high demand.

Patty your new blog is too funny. Only three hours huh? You won't believe my tooth story. I have a BABY tooth that is loose. Yes, I was missing a permanent tooth so it never got pushed out. When I was 34 I asked the dentist how long it could last. He said until you're thirty. ha ha So I've made it a couple more years.
I want to take it to my parent's house and put it under my pillow and ask for the tooth fairy plus interest! Happy November!

I hope you and your sister are doing well. Good for you. Take time to enjoy and do some me time!! Whether it be by yourself, or for yourself. Maybe when your sister is all healed just you and her take a trip. Road trip or any kind of trip, it's amazing what a difference it is.
On a whim my best friend of 40 yrs...went to Cancun! Just layed around, swimmed, went dancing, dinner and shopping it was great. Don't know when I'll be able to do that again or if I can. But I did!! And I have memories, just us girls. Let me know when you do go, I hope so, or what you will do for me time. Me, next up is pottery classes always wanted to try it.

You do need to take some ME time! A try alittle everyweek. Doesen't always work, but I try and set that goal for myself. I raised my kids (23 & soon to be 27). Now it's time for some of ME! It's hard at first, because you feel selfish. But you will get over that..lol....Maybe my close call made me realize it. And thank god, just found out my sister doesn't have a brain tumor yesterday. They still do not know what is going on. I take one day at a time, stop and smell the roses. Remember you only have one life to live...Is there something you've always wanted to do? Try? Learn? Me, one of these days I'm going to learn, or at least try a pottery class. Maybe I should make myself a list of things I'd like to do. Have a good day, and I'm glad your sister is going to be O.K.......darlyn
