July 16, 2008 - 1100 reviews posted! I want to reach 1200 by the the middle of September. Can I do it? I know I can but WILL I? I have a vacation coming up with NO internet service. How dare summer and family interfere with my VP goals! lol.

June 26, 2008 - Not feeling well and slowing down for a few days. I hope to be my perky self soon. Or, at least a perkier version of the self i am now. I am still reviewing, reading, and rating though and am catching up with comments you left for me. Actually, I'm not slowing down that much after all. Never mind. ;)

June 15, 2008, Lucy, I'm home!! I went camping and came home with ... one less pound, one sprained ankle, 136 new bug bites, a pair of "Fly Fisherman" sunglasses from the "camp store", a slippery new sleeping bag that I hate, a new appreciation for bathrooms IN the house, 5 more bags than I took with me, 4 extra pillows we bought when we thought we forgot ours (we didn't), no doggy (at the vet's until tomorrow), and no sunburn because I believe in sunscreen!

Happy Father's Day to all you dads and all your dads. Mine is gone. The two year anniversary of death is June 20. I love you Daddy. I pray you are in a happy place and no longer sad and longing for Mom. She's with you again.

June 12, 2008 - Will wonders never cease? My family and I are going CAMPING this weekend. That means the bathrooms are...somewhere far away and there's no heat or a/c. No TV. No computer access. (Not to mention room service. Haha.) What did I get myself into? I will be back on Sunday, June 15 and very happy to be back I am sure. I'm leaving early Friday, the 13th (Great, just great.) so if you email me or leave a comment, I won't get to it until I return. I may end up in rehab and detox for internet withdrawal. I already miss my electronic buddy. The LAPTOP, people, the laptop. ;)

April 29, 2008 - Today's challenge:

1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it. (Keep reading)

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.. Your foot will change direction!!!

I have been trying it for 20 minutes and I can't get over the fact that I can't control my foot. Try it and let me know if you can do it! lol lol.

March 24, 2008 - Getting better with exercise! I am tired of lying on the couch recuperating. I am now going to be the fittest sick person ever! Fighting illness with a "you're not the bossa me" attitude!

March 23, 2008 - HAPPY EASTER to those who observe the holiday!

March 10 - Relapse! Oh well, I did too much when I was feeling better so now I get to lay on the couch and whine for a while more. This has been a banner year for illnesses for my family. My husband has the flu and my kid has a nasty cold (Mr----X here on VP.) I just hope spring brings with it some good health to us all. And to you all! :)

March 1, 2008 - Feeling better, slowly but (hopefully) surely. I'm even exercising again! And I still hate it. Blah. But if you don't use it you lose it, or in this case, you gain it. Weight, body aches, soft bones, lungs that cop out on you when you walk, and a weaker heart. That's enough to get me up and moving. See all my exercise DVD and gadget reviews if you're ready to get up and get moving too! :) (Shameless plus there, huh? lol)

February 16, 2008 - The fight continues. I am in my second month of a virus that causes vertigo and dizziness. I'm almost used to walking like a drunk and feeling like I am on a rocking boat. Almost! :)

February 9, 2008 - Still recovering but am adapting to feeling like I am on a rocking boat all the time. Blah. I'm reading, writing, commenting, good pointing, and all that fun stuff still and loving every minute of it! But waiting for the day that I can WALK through the mall again! Whee.

February 7, 2008 - My niece lost her beloved father in law from a tragic accident yesterday and he will be missed by us all. Godspeed John Fadian and stay strong, Tracie!

January 30, 2008 - I walked to the mailbox TWICE today without support. That is a big step for me since I woke up suffering from a severe virus on January 1 and have been essentially unable to walk without support due to dizziness and vertigo. I never thought I would celebrate standing up. Count your blessings. It's the things we do without thinking that we miss so much when they're gone. I may just be on the mend! :)

January 20, 2008 - Still battling a virus that is winning. The vertigo and dizziness really are awful but I was told it could take two to five months to go away so I am resigned to it. I'm still here, writing, reading, Good Pointing, commenting, and loving every minute of it. But, man, being sick for so long blows. I started 2008 with a spin that hasn't stopped yet! But hey, it could be worse and I am just happy to be functional to the degree I am and to know that it will pass in due time. I HOPE!! EEK!

January 6, 2008 - I started the new year with an extremely distressing incident that sent me to the hospital. It could be weeks before I am back to my old self but at least I am able to type again without the room spinning. So let's get those reviews cranking!

December 30 - So it is written, So it shall come to pass. I have reached the 1000 review mark. I guess it's no surprise that I am eager to get started on 2000! :)

December 27 - Yay! I got presents and, of course, the dreaded after Christmas flu. I feel like hibernating for a few years. I'll try to keep writing, reading, and Good Pointing from my bed o' doom. Blah. :(

November 16 - My new SAD light has arrived! If the past is any indication, I should be feeling much better in a week or so. Gotta love full spectrum lighting that pulls SAD sufferers out of the dumps! Wheee. (read more)

November, 2007 - Do you have SAD? I do. It's Seasonal Affective Disorder and hits when the days get darker. It starts for me around early October and ends around late May or early June. New York winters are brutal and it's dark all the time. I am slowing down but fighting it with a SAD light box. If you see my output go down, know I am still 110% dedicated, just SAD! lol.

November, 2007 - I cannot believe that so much time has passed since I first learned of this site. It was a baby then, a work in progress, not open to the public. Now, although the site continues to be a work in progress because all websites evolve, I am proud to say that the Viewpoints staff really outdid themselves in the months between conception, alpha, beta, and launch. I'm loving it!
