As far as laptops go the Dell inspiron 1720 has been pretty good. For the first year I owned it, the performance was really good and issues were very few. Only after the one year warranty expired did I really start to experience problems. The customer service reps from Dell have always been very UNhelpful, even rude and that was even during the purchasing process.
