I have suffered with restless leg syndrome since before there was an official name for it. I just thought it was insomnia. When I was in my twenties I would lay awake at night, and fight it, in my thirties, I would try everything from standing out in zero degree weather hoping my legs would freeze until I fell asleep, to warm baths, cold baths, shaving, lotion, massaging, etc. Nothing worked.
