Safe, space-saving heater with programmable temperature.

The Lasko 5800 Ceramic Electric Heater is a good model. You can choose what temperature you want for a small or medium size room and it will heat it extremely well. I find this heater to be safer than many others because it doesn't get too hot to the touch. I have a toddler so this is very important. If he were to touch the heater at the vent(where it gets hottest) it would be hot, but it wouldn't burn him. With the temperature setting you don't use any more energy than necessary to keep a room at a comfortable temperature.
