I read many reviews before buying the Presto Multi-Cooker.  There were OODLES of positive reviews, BUT I couldn't help but pay SOME attention to the negatives.  One of the main negatives is the short power cord and the fact it's magnetic (said it was weak and came unplugged often).  Oh mercy, I don't see any real reason for having an extremely long cord, that seems like an accident waiting to happen.  Now, about the weak magnetic power plug..I haven't had a single problem with mine coming unplugged during use.  I love this feature!!!!!
