This unit is reasonably priced, but is very crude and cheap. While trying to hem corduroy, the needle won't go thru the fabric, the thread keeps breaking, and is overall frustrating. I guess if you just want to sew cotton handkercheif material, this would be fine. When the bobbin is out of thread, you begin to dread changing it out. Because it winds it so loosely, you find later, the thread keeps breaking. It smells funny when you use it, like it is burning up, but after about half an hour, you either get used to it, or whatever was burning off has burnt off completely. But then it...
