I live on the outskirts of a large metropolitan city, and the powers that be more or less divvied up the city/county. When I lived in an apartment complex, they had their own rinky dink cable provider. When I moved into my new house I thought it would be better. When they finally got cable into our area, I got the cheapest package. Back in 2000, I was paying $31.11 a month. Now it's over $50.
