What have I been up to lately? Let me tell you...

Saw Mary Poppins show on Broadway Chicago. It really was practically perfect in every way!

Visited the beautiful mountains of home, sweet, home in Asheville, NC. Every once in a while I have to get back to refill and regroup on the slow pace, sweetness of the South.

Made a trip to Charleston, SC to visit best friends. We beach bummed it up by day and beach bar-ed it down by night. What a fun filled weekend of horseshoe, corn hole, sparklers, patriotic cookies, fireworks, sun tan time, grilling out, and catching up with the best people Folly Beach has to offer :)

Saw The Hangover and Away We Go... laughed til I cried in both movies.

I play beach volleyball on a coed league every Tuesday night. Our incredibly talented team is named Killer Tan Lines. Sometimes we bring it and showcase an Olympic-style performance. Other times, we look like the Bad News Bears. But hey, consistency can be boring, right?

LOVING the fact that my sister visits Chicago more frequently for work!!!! My friends and I are slowly convincing her she has to sell her house, pack up the pup and move up here.

Reading another hilarious David Sedaris book, When You Are Engulfed In Flames. I literally break out in laughter on the train to work while reading. It's embarrassing.

Got tickets to LOLLAPALOOZA this year!!! Woop! Woop! August 7-9 will pretty much be a haze of heat, music, xtreme crowds and alcoholic beverages. Crossing my fingers I survive another 3-day pass.

Last but not least, our Viewpoints office is relocating a whole 1/2 a block around the corner!!!! Bring on the bigger and better diggs to accommodate our ever growing team of super talented and super smart people! We are so fortunate - feeling humbled and happy. We've come a long, long way thanks to our AMAZING community. Considering the state of the economy, job losses, foreclosures and company closings - we are counting our lucky stars!

Spring is budding and so are the careers and talents of some of my absolute favorite people on the planet. These are friends who both inspire and impress me every day with their creativity and drive to do what they love. I'm so proud of them...  I have to share.
