The Breadman Bread Machine is handy, does a lot of time consuming chores but mine seems to do it's best on loaves of Pumpkin Bread or Pound Cake; items that lend themselves well to a heavier loaf. Regular white bread that should be light and soft comes out like the heavier pound cake. My next try at getting it to perform the way I want is to go against the receipe suggestions and actually dissolve the yeast in a lukewarm cup of water and have it be the first ingredient poured into the pan.
