K'NEX is a wonderul toy for kids. There are types for younger kids called Kid K'nex, and tubs and bins for older kids that have many more pieces.

This educational toy requires planning as to what pieces are to be used. The pieces just snap together and are lots of different cool colors and shapes. There are motors, wheels, lights and much more... Books come with the sets, as well as resources online for even more builds. Children get so much joy out of creating something by themselves.
